Apollo Fire Detectors has designed and manufactured fire detection devices in Havant, UK, since 1980 and is part of Halma plc. Its detectors are used with many different control panels around the world, because Apollo publishes its communication protocol and keeps its ranges backwards compatible.
ZE-Tronics supplies Apollo detectors in Azerbaijan and designs, installs and maintains the systems they belong to.
Backwards compatibility means an existing XP95 system can often be extended or upgraded with newer devices without replacing the whole loop. We confirm compatibility with your panel before supply.

Industrial sites often have a mix of safe and hazardous areas. With XP95 I.S. detectors, an addressable system can extend into a Zone 1 or Zone 2 area through intrinsically safe barriers, instead of using separate explosion-proof devices. The design has to respect cable parameters and the area classification — see our articles on hazardous area zones and Ex marking.
Apollo detectors work with many panels that support the Apollo protocol, including Kentec Syncro and Taktis panels. We plan loops, isolators and addresses, program the panel and test every device at commissioning.

Yes, with the XP95 I.S. intrinsically safe range connected through approved barriers or isolators. The design must follow the intrinsic safety rules for cable parameters and zone classification.
Many panel manufacturers support the Apollo protocol, including Kentec. We check the protocol and loop capacity when designing the system.
Fire alarm systems are usually serviced at least every six months, with every detector functionally tested within each year. Local regulations and the building's fire strategy may require more.
