Ruslan Nasibov, Director of ZE-TRONICS: “Our Goal Is Not Just to Supply Equipment, but to Be a Reliable Engineering Partner”

This year, ADEX, the Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, and Securex Caspian, the International Security Exhibition, are being held together. The company’s Director, Ruslan Nasibov, answered our questions about ZE-TRONICS’s participation, safety solutions for the defense industry and critical infrastructure, and the development of the regional market.

What does the joint staging of ADEX and Securex Caspian mean for ZE-TRONICS? Given the visitor profile (defense + civil security), what new connections do you expect to make?

The joint staging of ADEX and Securex Caspian creates a very interesting synergy for us. It brings the defense industry together with civil and industrial security on a single platform, which aligns perfectly with ZE-TRONICS’s business profile.

At the exhibition, alongside the traditional oil and gas sector, we expect to build new relationships with defense industry enterprises, strategic and critical infrastructure facilities, airports, and representatives of the energy and logistics sectors.

In particular, we see a growing need for fire and gas safety, early detection, and specialized warning systems in Azerbaijan’s developing defense industry. Our goal is not simply to supply equipment but to be a reliable, long-term engineering partner for these sectors.

What is the most interesting “must-see” element on your stand for visitors, and why?

The key feature of our stand is not individual products but a unified fire and gas safety concept. Visitors will see how different technologies work together as a single system, from early hazard detection through to alerting and response.

We especially want to demonstrate the real value of early detection and rapid response for the defense industry and critical infrastructure. In other words, our stand presents not just equipment but a comprehensive safety solution.

This year you have brought together seven international brands (Det-Tronics, E2S, Securiton, Kentec, Apollo, Fire Rover, Fireye) on a single stand. What advantages can an integrated ecosystem approach offer businesses?

Our main aim in bringing seven international brands together on our stand this year is to showcase not separate products but a unified, integrated safety ecosystem.

In modern industrial and critical infrastructure facilities, safety is no longer limited to fire detection alone. Gas and flame detection, early fire detection, fire alarm and control systems, audible and visual warning, and early intervention solutions based on intelligent video analytics must all complement one another.

Our advantage at ZE-TRONICS is that the client gets a single engineering approach instead of working with separate partners for each of these technologies. We can assess a facility’s risks, select the appropriate technologies, integrate them into a unified solution, and stay involved throughout the entire process, from design and supply to commissioning, after-sales service, and technical support.

What is the significance of technologies such as multispectral infrared flame detection for high-risk facilities in the defense and aviation sectors?

In high-risk sectors such as defense and aviation, detecting fire as early and accurately as possible is critically important. Multispectral infrared detection technology analyzes the various spectral characteristics of a flame, enabling rapid detection while minimizing false alarms. At facilities where fuel, explosives, and other high-risk materials are present, this means faster response and more effective protection of people and critical equipment.

How do you see the fire and gas safety market in Azerbaijan and the Caspian countries changing in recent years?

In recent years, we have seen the fire and gas safety market in Azerbaijan and the wider Caspian region become more demanding and technology-driven. Clients are no longer looking for equipment alone. They want integrated solutions that comply with international standards and come with long-term service support. At the same time, demand is expanding beyond oil and gas into energy, transportation, the defense industry, and other critical infrastructure. In our view, the market is moving toward earlier detection, smarter systems, and greater reliability.
